I Made $1 Online and That Has Made All the Difference

Everyone wants to make millions of dollars, but no one wants to make $1 first. Start small, think big and you’ll have everything you’ve ever dreamed of.

Ppppffff. $1. Who the fuck cares about making $1?!? That’s nothing.

Actually, it is everything.

In 2022, I was at my lowest. I didn’t really know it then, but I was in a bad spot.

It is true: when you are in the middle of it, you can’t see the forest through the trees. You might sense it, but the sheer magnitude of rock bottom is impossible to grasp when you’re down there. You just can’t see how expansive it is.

But at some point, in a single moment, it can all change.

I wish I could tell you exactly what to do to get off the bottom. Tell you some secret that will suddenly change everything. Something you could do to instantly notice it and pick yourself back up.

I can’t.

There is no secret.

It doesn’t work like that.

You need to find your moment. In your own way. In your own time.

start small, think big usually starts with a moment when you realize that you need to change your life and you need habits. To get habits, start small, think big.
When you see this woman in your dreams, it’s probably time to get your shit together.

But I can tell you this: if you truly want to get back up, your moment will come.

So what does this have to do with making a measly $1 online?

The space between rock bottom (or wherever life’s struggles currently have you) and making $1 online might be stocked full of obstacles, hardships, and struggles, but it might just be what you need. And it’s easier than you think.

Let me ask you this: to make $1,000,000 online, what exactly do you have to do?

To make $100,000 online, what exactly do you have to do?

$10,000?

$1,000?

How about $1?

The truth is, if you want to get to $1,000,000, you first need to know how to make $1.

In July 2022, I set that lofty goal: make $1 online by the end of the year.

I gave myself six months.

Six months! Why?

Because I knew that if I could make $1 tiny dollar online, then I would know for a fact that you could make money online.

If you have worked your whole life for someone else and received your usual paycheck, from the usual place, at the usual time, in the usual way, you have no clue how to make money online. Even if you think you do.

There is no actual way to know how to make money online, than to actually make money online.

And the best place to start is $1 in 6 months.

I received my first payment on August 31, 2022. $81.60, to be exact.

Two months in from, of all places, rock bottom.

Game on.

Holy shit! The internet just paid me! How the fuck did that just happen? I’m confused.

That’s pretty much where I landed after reaching my goal.

It was monumental and life-changing, yet this strange sense of confusion consumed me. The world of making money online felt different. Very different.

We now live in a world of two worlds: one where you are live, and one where you are online.

You don’t act exactly as you do online as you do in real life, and you don’t make money the same way, either.

That first payment felt so removed from reality. But it was real enough.

That’s why I had set the goal so low. I knew I was entering a new world, one I had only been a consumer in.

I knew if I made $1, I would know that making money online was possible.

The truth is, I didn’t really believe I could do it.

And that’s the thing, you must take action before you can believe. Before you can know.

Some might argue that you need belief first. But that’s not true. You don’t need to believe anything. In fact, that is hurting so many people: they are waiting to believe in themselves before getting started. Guess what? That moment will never come until you take action.

I was just curious. I wanted to know, needed to know, if it could be done. I had no real belief that I would even make that $1.

Curiosity is enough. In fact, it’s all you really need to get started.

You don’t need to feel “worthy”, or that “you are good enough”, or “believe in yourself”.

That’s bullshit.

You don’t need any of that nonsense.

You just have to be curious enough to get started.

To take that very first, tiny, minuscule step.

That is why you set the goal of $1.

Or one healthy salad.

Or one rep.

Or a one-minute run.

Or one word.

One sentence.

You need proof of concept. You need to see that something is possible for yourself. You have to experience the win. And the only way to get that is by showing up and doing the thing.

Whatever it is, you need to start so small it seems almost ridiculous. Laughable.

you need to start small, think big to get lucky in life and create opportunities
You don’t need luck. You don’t need to believe. You need to start.

When I told people I was aiming for $1 in 6 months, everyone, and I mean everyone, laughed.

But I knew.

I knew that if I could make $1, I could make $10.

If I could make $10, I could make $100.

If I could…you get where this is going.

That isn’t to say that these last 7 months have been easy after making that first $1.

In fact, it has been quite the opposite.

I wasn’t ready.

I was more surprised than anything else.

But that $1 has made all the difference in my mindset: I know now, for a fact, that I can make money online.

But that doesn’t mean the next $1000 is going to be easy. Or the next.

It gets harder. A lot harder.

But once you do it, you know. You don’t believe. You fucking know!

You know, not only that it is possible, but that you’ve already done it.

You fucking showed up for yourself and did what you said you were going to do.

You made that $1.

You ate that salad.

You did that rep.

You ran that minute.

You showed up.

We all want to make millions of dollars, have perfect health, and the most epic relationships.

But not all of us are willing to make $1 first. Because making $1 is lame. It’s embarrassing.

Or just exercise for one minute. Because that won’t “give me the perfect body I want.”

Or say “Hello” first. Because “the other person should say it to me before I say it to them.”

They say that making the fist million is the hardest.

I say that making the first $1 is the hardest.

If it wasn’t, you would have started already.

And starting is the hardest part.

But you can just start.

You only have to do one thing.

Make $1.
